Folder opens on startup

The following folder opens whenever the computer is started.

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat

I have tried looking at the startup registry keys, I have deleted
everything from the "Startup" folder in "All Programs" in the Start
menu, and I have cleared the scheduled tasks. It isn't profile
specific because it opens no matter who logs on to the machine. Thanks!

Go to Start > Run and type: MSCONFIG , and hit Enter.
Look under the Start tab and remove the check next to
any Adobe startup items, then click Apply and reboot.

See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utiltiies, Startup Programs Tracker. This gives a very readable listing of what's loading at startup. Copy and paste the results into a reply. It is usually not necessary to include the running processes and Services listings.

MSCONFIG is a trouble shooting _tool_, not a place to disable
startup items....
