Folder Customizations

Windows allows you to put a thumbnail on each folder to identify the
contents. I've run into a situation where when I change the customization on
one folder, other folders or subfolders have their customization changed to
this new customization when they should not be. There was a posting that
suggested making a change to the Windows Registry BagMRU Size (something that
apparently is unnecessary if Service Pack 2 is installed) from 5000. I
changed mine to 100000 as I have a substantial amount of photos and folders
to store them. This has not resolved the issue. Please advise.
