Folder blocked due to reinstallation of XP

I have recently reinstall XP from my image disk. Because
I have only reinstall my first partition, I was able to
save my data files. However, I had 'privatized' some of
my folder. After reinstallation, I no longer be able to
access these folders even I log in as the same user name
and password. Any idea?
