??????? flashing disc next to my cursor????????

I have a flashing disc next to my cursor that seems to be prompting my to do something although I do not know what. Any help would be appreciated. I have opened and closed my disc drives, and also used them to make sure they are working, which they are.

The flashing disk refers to your CD or DVD drive. The computer is looking
for a CD or DVD.

Put a CD in your CD or DVD drive (not a blank one.) Open the CD in My
Computer, then close it. Now right click on the icon for your CD or DVD
drive and select Eject. Remove the CD/DVD and close your drive by pressing
the button on the front of the drive. Close My Computer.

Do this for each of your CD and DVD drives. Reboot for good luck. Problem
should be solved.

It's a good practice to eject discs by right clicking on the drive's icon
and selecting Eject, rather than pushing the button on the front of the
drive. And before you eject a CD or DVD, always be sure that the computer is
finished with whatever it was doing with the disc.
