1. Hello I want to set up my computer to be a Server (I have tried all the
wizards and stuff (I'm running W2K Advanced Server) Is there a step by step
guide??

2. I need to configure my Switch/ADSL/Wireless Gateway (Linksys WAG54G)

3. My Server (Fujitsu Siemens 2.6GHz P4 Running W2K Advanced Server)
communicates though two switches, The Linksys and a 3Com SuperStack 1100 (24
port switch that connects all my clients) the 3com switch communicates
though port 4 of the linksys into port 1 of the 3com switch

4. Should I have Two network interface cards NIC with one used for the ADSL
gateway and one NIC connected to the 3Com switch?? I only want to share
Files/printers but I don't know how to get DNS/DHCP to work.

5. My Linksys uses DHCP to give each machine a Internet connection (And so I
can use VNC (so I don't need 10 Monitors, keyboards and mice!!) how do I
make each machine connect to the Active directory???) and what should I type
in to those machines Local area connections properties????

6. My active directory name is TESTDNSSDOMAINNAME is that too long and can I
change it easily???

7. I just want each machine to have internet, files and printers, I don't
need really anything else like shared Apps.

8. At the moment my clients can't find the server or the printer!!

9. the microsoft server site seems like and advert for win2003 server, does
anyone have a direct link? perhaps to a FAQ????
