OK, so it has been established beyond any reasonable doubt that
Babyfuss is a juvenile delinquent. Guilty as charged. Time for him to
spend a few years in a penal colony in the outback.

Apple lets you freely modify their examples.

You seem to fail to understand that there's a difference between taking
SDK code and tweaking it for your own learning before producing your own
program and simply compiling an example program from the Apple CoreSound
SDK while changing the branding to Babyaware. Not quite as funny as the
attempt at rebranding Opera, but a good try.

A A Fussy, if you are genuinely interested in software development (and
you definitely seem to be?) then I would recommend that you write some
software from scratch. All I've seen you do over the years is copy
software written by others and claim that it is yours.

Not only would this give people a chance to take you seriously, but
it's a great learning experience.

FYI: It appears that this is coming from Rick Brewster, project leader
and programmer for Paint.net and also author of the nice freeware ListXP
( http://listxp.com/ ).

Nice surprise to see you here, Rick!

Yup, you caught me! I'm surprised I was recognized for ListXP. It
probably has less than 1/1000th the downloads of Paint.NET ... and I
haven't touched it in years.

Fussy, I really (well, not really) wish I lived in Australia sometimes.
I think you need a serious talking to.

Why bother? He completely ignores anything that is said to (or about) him
here and blithely goes on his misapropriating way regardless.

Arguably, I think the only way of stopping him is unpleasant, physical,
illegal and permanent.

Threatening people is a lot worse than anything aafussy has ever done.

I have threatened nobody, simply expressed an opinion.

Given Apple's propensity for filing lawsuits to protect their
intellectual property, Fussy is not doing a smart thing at all.

I don't reply to trolls like Andy Mabbett or Doc (who uses sock puppets)
for instance. No adware, cdware, commercial software, crippleware,
demoware, nagware, PROmotionware, shareware, spyware, time-limited
software, trialware, viruses or warez for me, please.

Rick,
Thought I'd jump in here and warn you that posting to usenet and
using a real email address always leads to a flood of spam. You might
want to use a fake email address if the one you're using now is real.

I've actually tested it before release on my Mac mini-compared to
REAPER or Audacity, there was zero latency and stutter free playback.
Also less resource hungry. Core Audio is quite efficient by my tests
compared to Windows's DirectSound or ASIO.
