Firewall?

I have 4 computers on my network, my question is....
I have a router with a built in firewall, i also have a
firewall within windows xp, and last i have McAfee
firewall running also. Is all this necessary? Can i use
just the firewall within the router or is that not
enough? When i enable the xp firewall i can't connect to
the other computers on my network, and ideas?

Hi Dylan
Disable the XP (ICF) "firewall". It is very limited in it's protection.
Your router's firewall and the McAfee should be adequate protection
provided you have them set up properly.

Well, i have firewall in router and i also like have ZoneAlarm on in my
winXP (xp own firewall off though) just to see easily what tries connect
"outside" from my machine... Not sure if that is any "wise" but sofar i
haven't had problems and haven't either had any trojans etc ´sneaking in to
my system
