Firewall won't turn on

I can't turn on my Windows Firewall - It' won't connect to
the ISP - Does anyone have any ideas? Could it be the
spyware overriding this?

Hi Deb:

If that's all that is going on and you hasve XPSP2 try
this:

If you have a disabled firewall and/or internet
connection issue due to the removal of a malware item
with MSAS, type this at the command prompt:
netsh winsock reset

Hit the enter key, and then restart.

Hi Bob:

Yes!! It worked! I will add that the MSAS asked if it
was to be blocked - Choose Ignore - for anyone else having
this problem.
