Firewall sp2

Is there some permanate way to shut off the firewall that
continues to load everytime I turn on my computer. I have
Norton Firewall and Norton virus protection, But since the
update Microsoft said it can't find the firewall and keeps
recommending me to turn on the built in one. I rather
use Norton,,

Open your Control Panel, then double-click the Security Center icon.
In the left side, click on the link titled: "Change the way Security Center
alerts me". Next, uncheck the Firewall Alert Setting, then click OK.
