Firewall/Hotmail

All of a sudden as of yesterday I can no longer get my hotmail with a
firewall running. I was running Sygate Personal Firewall. Had to shut it off
to get Hotmail. So I uninstalled it and use Windows Firewall. Same problem.
IE locks up after logging into Hotmail with the firewall on. Turn it off and
no problem.
