I'm on XP and IE7.
On a number of occassions recently there is the icon appearing in the
Systems Tray telling me that my Windows Firewall has been disabled. Asking
me to click it to enable it again. But unable to turn it on again. The
window box says to go to Control panel/Windows Firewall to activate it, but
unable to again. Windows says that it is unable to.
I don't use any other firewall and have been OK so far for the past 3 years.
I then try all sorts of things including running my anti-spyware programs
and anti-virus and cleanup programs. Sometimes like today I am able to
activate the firewall again.
My Windows updates are on automatic and regularly installed, What could be
the problem and what can I do about it?
Thanks
