Firewall and antivirus go on crashing in my computer

Hi,

I'm running WinXP Home in my computer and I've noticed this morning that
both Zone Alarm firewall and Norton antivirus are unable to run in it.
Whenever I try to start them they open just for some seconds and then they
suddenly shut down.
I thought it was the Blaster virus, but I run the Symantec removal tool and
it says it couldn't find Blaster.
Windows is Not crashing, its only Norton and Zonealarm.
I've been looking in their sites but I couldn't find anything about this.
If it is a virus I need to know its name....
Help please !!!

Go to Symantec's site and run there online Virus scanner to see if it finds
a virus. It is under Symantec Security Check.
