find macro

I wanted to creat a command button based on a macro. When
executed I wanted the macro to open a form and find a
record. Everything goes fine in that department, but I
want to have the macro prompt the user for what to search
for... How can I do this?

Nick,

One option is to have an unbound textbox on the form where your
command button sits, and enter the criteria in there. The other is to
have your form based on a Parameter Query, i.e. where the criteria
says something like [Enter what you want]
