Find a String in Email Attachment(s)

Good day to You!

Product: Outlook 2003 exchange server

Issue: I have a macro, which saves any attachment to a particular location
based on the input available in subject line. Currently, subject line is
manually changed to provide the required input to the macro. However, I would
like to (but don't know) to write a vba program for searching our branch
offices names in the attachments and change the subject line with the branch
name found in the attachment. The attachment always will be in pdf format
only.

Daily I need to change the subject line for around 50 emails and its boring
and time consuming. If I have a vba code to do this, it would be a great gift
for me. I am sure there should be people around here, who shall get it done
just like that...

Thanks in advance for any help.

You need to save the attachment to the file system before you can do
anything with it. For PDF files you need to find out how to load and search
a file like that, that's nothing to do with Outlook.
