filtering the subform lookup combo box by the main form record

I can lookup values of a subform using the combo box wizard lookup a record
thing but this gives me all the records of the subform when all I want to see
are the relevant records to the main form record which will have already been
selected. Essentially i need to pass a parameter from the main form (The
main forms active record) to a query that populates the list for the combobox
located on the subform. Not sure how to do this. I imagine its simple. very
close

i figured it out. just needed to refer to the forms control in the
conditional sql field and then run the requery macro on the enter event of
the subform combo box control.
