Filter: not capturing all data

Hi All,
In my excel sheet my filter is not capturing the entire column. The
drop-down list is not showing all filtered data. Please help.
Thanks.

The dropdown only shows 1000 unique entries.

Debra Dalgleish shows some work-arounds here:
http://contextures.com/xlautofilter02.html#Limits

But if you have less than 1000 unique entries and you're not seeing all of them,
then I'd bet you didn't include all the rows you wanted in your autofilter
range.

I'd remove the filter and then select the entire range to filter and reapply
that autofilter.

Thanks Dave. I did capture the entire column. But, now it makes sense that it
only shows 1000 unique entries. But the question is does it display only 1000
unique entries or even if you do Custom filter it won't show the entires over
1000?
Thanks.

Dave, that is correct. I can Custom-look for the record if i want to. But the
question was the drop-down list does not display all entries and i wanted to
find the way to make it display all (over 1000) unique records. But, thanks.
I got it now.
