filter keys

recently i was typing an email and i held down a key too
long> got a message about filter keys and i did not pay
attention to what it said> the bottom line is that right
now i am typing with cap locks on and all i get is lower
case> BUT IF I TAKE CAP LOCKS OFF< ALL I GET ARE CAPS>
BUT NO WAY DO I GET A PERIOD OR A COMMA> so i really
need some help in trying to get things back to normal> i
tried restarting the computer< hoping that it would set
itself back> but i was not that lucky> so any help
would be greatly appreciated> i would just like to type
normally again>

by the way< it effects all programs that deal with
typing< but it started with an email

please help!!!

Sounds like you're using Windows XP and have enabled one of the
accessibility options. Control Panel's Accessibility applet addresses this.
