fill in forms

I work for a Real Estate firm and occasionally have to make fill-in forms in
the computer for the agents tp use. They work fine on our computers, but when
I copy a form off on to cd for the agents to take home and put on their
personal computers, it never works quite right on theirs. I use XP
Professional Word to make the forms, they have Home XP version. Will this
make a difference?
The latest one I copied off when they tried to open it on their computer it
added an extra line or two to the form, which also added an extra page. How
do I correct this? When I open it on my computer it comes up fine.
Thanks for any help...

Word is a shocking choice.
You'll need to instruct them to use the "native" word to open it. (Start/All
Programs/Accessories/wordpad)
You might be better advised intalling Microsoft Office & hoping that all of
them also have Office on their computers.
Once you all have the same program installed to read it, everything will be
OK.
