Filezilla: How can I sort the directory output by default?

C

I am running Filezilla. But when you log in from a remote machine, the
output is sorted by name only. That means all files - including
subfolders - are sorted by name. I want to be the subfolders seperated
at the top of the output page and then the rest of the files.

Is there an option in FileZilla where I can activate this or is it a
browser-dependant property?

Thank you,
Chris.

Are you talking about the Filezilla server or the Filezilla client?

I am running a server.

The sort order is set by the client, so there's no sorting on the
server. I suppose you could write a server that sorted the directory
it sent, but the client would still show it in the sort order it (thew
client) was set for.

Ah, I understand.

So I come to this conclusion:
Internet Explorer is a crap.

Use the Filezilla ftp client and you will get the directories on top.
