Files in "C" directory Not Visible

The files you don't see are system and hidden files. To see them, in Windows
Explorer, go to Tools -> Folder Options -> View. Uncheck the box marked
"Hide protected operating system files (recommended)." Say "Yes" to the
warning. Also, select "Show hidden files and folders" underneath Hidden
Files and Folders.

Explorer will not show all files in the "C" directory. The folders are all
there but the only file visible is "OneCareSupportData.zip." I have it
configured to show all files so this is not the problem. I know there are 13
additional files as I can see them with "Partition Explorer" which is
operating outside Windows. If I use the search function in Windows it will
find the file and show it located in the "C" directory. As far as I can tell,
this is the only directory that acts like this.

I am using Windows XP Home with SP2. This is a retail edition.

How can I make them visible?
