"File Upload" Tool, avoiding password and filtering file types

2 questions...

with the File Upload tool, when you submit a file to upload after selecting
it, you always get a login screen that the server i guess makes come up. is
there any way around that through FP? Im looking on my server settings and
dont see anything that would work in my advantage.

Also, is there any way in the File Upload settings that can filter out what
file types to display with the browse window. for example, if i want it for
uploading Jpegs, can i have the browse window only display by default the JPG
files for selecting to upload?

#1: The IUSER_Machine account must have write access. The FP2002 extensions should set the
permissions automatically.

#2: Not possible with the FP component.

Should consider using ASPUpload from http://www.aspupload.com
