File Types - icon

Hi.

Windows Explorer/Folder Options/File Types. I changed the association for
TXT (TXT File) from MS's Notepad to a program called EditPad Lite. No
problem; it works fine. But the icon for EditPad Lite, which now appears in
the Windows Explorer/Folder Options/File Types tab, does not appear beside
..txt files in
Windows Explorer or My Computer. The icon which, I presume, is the one
associated with
Notepad continues to show. Is there some way to change this? Reason I ask
is because the Notepad icon most nondescript, whereas the EditPad icon is
bright green, which means I can locate text files much more easily.

Thanks.

This is a follow-up to my own article and it's just to ask whether the icon
~should~ have changed. In other words, is there something wrong that needs
to be fixed or is this just the way XP works?

Thanks.
