file sharing

I am running an XP pro and and XP home on a home network. I can share
printers with all the computers on the network but not files. I've done most
of the things i've read about but I keep getting this message. "Shared file
is not accessable, you might not have permission to use this network
resource. Contact the administrator." Then it says - "Not enough server
storage is available to process this command." When I look at my network
places all the shared locations and files are listed but I get the same
message on all of them. Printer sharing works fine.
