File sharing with a Mac...

A friend of mine (who is strictly a Mac guy) just bought a notebook with
Windows XP. He currently has 2 macs running MAC OS 10. The 2 Macs network
with one another via a Linksys router, using dynamic IP addressing. The
question is, how does he network his Windows XP PC so that he can share
"midi" files with his 2 Macs. His Macs are currently using TCP/IP with fixed
IP addresses generated by the router. I know PC's and he knows Mac's...too
bad we don't know a thing about the other platform.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

He needs to run Samba on the Macs. Samba set up in OSX is very easy.
Make identical user accounts/passwords on all machines and share out
desired resources.
