File share problem works only in one way.

Hello.

Can anybody help me with this problem. I have 2 machines win XP pro.
One day when i use share folder, the message displan with Guest
account. I have tried everything. I tried simple file sharing, stop and
start services related to sharing, disable firewall, run winsocket fix,
enabling disabling Guest account. This problem appears suddendly - just
one day.

Is there some patch to fix this problem.

Try turning off simple file sharing and create a user account on the
computer you can not access that has the same logon/password as the user
trying to access the share. When you run the command netstat -an on the
computer that you can not access it needs to show that ports 139 and 445 TCP
are listening or connected. Verify that you can ping the computer that you
can not access the share on from the other computer trying both computer
name and IP address of the computer as shown in the command ipconfig /all.
If ping fails you probably have a basic failure in network connectivity. The
