Can I use W2k Advanced Server to perform file replication
without using Active Directory.

Depends on what you mean.... If you mean "DFS with automatic replication",
then "No", that requires an Enterprise DFS (which means a domain and Active
Directory.)

If you mean Stand-alone or Server based DFS and MANUAL replication then
"yes."

If you mean Offline files, again, "Yes."

What exactly do you want to do and how do you want it to work?

Server based DFS and MANUAL replication.
