Hi,
I have created a database in office 2007, however i need to be able to use
it on a computer with an older version (office xp). However whenever i save
it in the format all the buttons in the forms don't work.

If you use the wizards in Access 2007 (in ACCDB format), they create
embedded macros, which previous versions of Access didn't support. You have
to convert the embedded macros to VBA or regular macros.

I believe if you work in the MDB format in Access 2007, this problem doesn't
occur.

hi, thank you for letting me know about the problem, however i have created
the file in 2007, which means i need to find a why of rewriting it.

Access 2007 gives you the option of using the new ACCDB format, or the
standard MDB format. As I indicated, I don't believe the problem occurs if
you use the MDB format. I also don't believe there's any automated way of
converting embedded macros to standard macros or VBA.
