'File Open' Cached info

When I click File Open in Outlook 2003 to access another user's mailbox, I
see a list of previously opened mailboxes, which make it quicker to access
them. The list contains some users that are no longer with the company. How
can I remove these entries from the list?

Thanks...Jake

Off-subject question - When I post a message here, I'm presented with a list
of discussion groups that, to me, are in no particular order, and it takes
some time to find the appropriate group. Does anyone know what the logic is,
and why things aren't at least listed alphabetically.

You need to delete the MRU list from the registry - see
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/mru.htm.

Without knowing the url you use, the one at
http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx is in
alphabetical order for the apps. The subgroups are not - but the names
should be descriptive enough that you'll choose the right group - general
questions is for anything that doesn't seem to fit the other groups.

Thanks, Diane. Just what I needed. I had already checked the registry, but
didn't realize the cached info wouldn't be in readable text.
