File List Generator

A short time ago, I requested an app which would scan a directory full of
Zip files and output a CSV textfile (comma delimited) so that it could be
imported into M$ Access, thus saving a lot of work cataloging directories
manually.
I received a couple of suggestions, but did not acknowledge in the group,
apologies for the oversight.

However,
I discovered that I already had such an application ferreted away, built for
the purpose, which does the job straight out of the box. It's called File
List Generator v1.53 and can still be found at:

I think it's one of a kind, and does the job well - Freeware.
You may have to do a little tidying up before importing the CSV data into
your Database, but any decent search and replace enabled text editor can do
that easily.

It solved my problem. If you need such a utility, available as above.

There is a known error problem with this program under XP after SP1 or
is it SP2, anyways it errors out on close. This is easily one of the
top 5 programs, but may I also suggest you tak a look at Directory
Lister, it also is Freeware as long as you are not a business.

I like it quite well.

Thank you for your observations, it appears to be more comprehensive than
File List Generator.
As I am (as I type) running 98SE, I have not seen the crash, however, this
system dual boots 98 or XP so no doubt I would have seen it eventually.
