File is Needed

The file 'c_20127.nls' on Windows XP Home Edition CD Rom
is needed.

We did not get a CD Rom with our computer for Windows
XP. Everything was preloaded.

What is this file and how can we obtain it?

Most manufacturers who pre-install XP, will include the installation files
in a folder called "i386" located on the C: drive. Use Search to look for
the file there.

Hi Karen!
The file is located in c:\WINDOWS\system32.
you can get to this folder from the recovery console but XP-CD is needed.
