File in registry corrupt

Is their a way to repair the regestry in windows 2000 with
out the emergency rapir disk.
Or a command that can be used to the recovery console that
can be used.
Steps Tried
1. All three Safe Modes
2. Last known Good configuration
3. attenpting to repair the master boot record.

One thing is "Do you have a recent full registry backup?"

We think there is a recent regestry back up put I am not
exactly sure
