File attributes

Click Start > run > type cmd > click OK > in command prompt type "attrib /?"
without quotes. This will tell you all you need to know to change attributes
then navigate to the file using the cd command if you are not sure how to use
it type "cd /?" without quotes and it will tell you. Good Luck... You can
change the read only and hidden attributes by right clicking and checkmarking
the boxes on some files.. not system files though...

Depends on what attributes.

Right click a file | Properties |
General tab | Read-only and Hidden |
Advanced tab | Compressed and Encrypted
