File attachments

When Attaching a file such as a JPG, the receipant is getting a DAT format
file and not the JPG while using Outlook in the HTML format mode. When in
the Plain Text mode, the same file attachment passes as a JPG and is not
changed. What can I do to attach JPG files in the HTML format mode of
Outlook and not get them changed?

are you sure you are using HTML and not RTF? RTF will cause it.
