I help a small food pantry here and they recently had their data drive die.
I replaced the drive and restored their files including the back end of a
recipient database. There are 9 users and 8 of them operate just like they
did before using the database. One in particular can only access it when
everyone else if off. If someone is already using the back end, they get
the message "unable to open db1, file already in use.'
I replaced their front end with a copy from the server and I still get the
same message. I checked permissions and everyone has read, write and
modify, so just don't know what to look for at this point. Can anyone offer
any suggestions?
Thanks!
