Fields displaying on all pages of tabbed form

I have a form that has tabs across the top. I entered 4 fields on one of the
forms and they are showing up on all the tabbed forms instead of just the
one. Any ideas how to correct this?

You need to put the control on the tab. You put it on the form.

Highlight the controls, cut them, right-click the tab (it should turn dark)
then paste.

Did you "add" those new controls to the tab by dragging them from the
underlying form? That will cause the behaviour you describe. Add controls to
a tab form either directly form the control toolbox or by cutting & pasting.

What you are seeing is the fact that the dragged control is still on the
underlying form, but "floating" on top of the tab so it shows regardless of
which tab is selected. It isn't attached to the Tab control itself. Try
moving or resizing the Tab so that it is no longer "underneath" the dragged
control, and you'll see that your dragged control is oblivious to the change
in the Tab - it still appears right where it was. All you did was drag the
control from one part of the underlying form to another. You didn't really
add it to the Tab.

Even when adding controls to a Tab via the Control Toolbox, it's a good idea
to make sure the desired tab is selected first, and not the tab control in
it's entirety. This action doesn't seem to be as problematic in more recent
versions of Access as I remember it being once upon a time, but you don't
specify what version you're using, so it may be applicable.
