Faxing through a printer/fax device

Hello,
Is there any way to configure the Windows Fax service to use a
printer/fax device?

On my PC I have a fax modem and also drivers for such a device... If I
look into the fax service management console I only see my modem in my
device list. How can I tell the fax service to fax using the other
device (if at all possible) ?

Windows XP Fax can only use analog fax modems that support class 1 or 2 Fax
and that are on the Windows XP HCL list.

Is is the same with Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 server?
