Fax Routing

When I send a fax from my macine (shared fax printer on server) I do not get
an e-mail reciept and incoming faxes are not routed either.

The server was recently upgraded from 2003sbs to 2003 standard edition.
Can anyone help?

Specify your client fax software then post in the correct group that
supports it. Routing to Outlook has been eliminated from some.

But you must have some client fax software installed in the local machine's
Outlook profile to do this. If it is Windows XP Fax, routing to Outlook no
longer exists.

I simply have a fax on the server and this is then shared a a printer on the
other macines on the network. Honest it really is just like sharing any other
printer. SBS 2003 automatiaclly instals this.

When I want to send a fax from my network machine I can simply print to the
shared fax and I am then guided through the dialog boxes for the fax number,
which may be obtained from my address book.

Then you need to be asking in an SBS group. This is not an Outlook issue.
All I can tell you is that Microsoft is summarily severing all connections
between Outlook and modem Fax transports and you would do well to look for
alternatives.
