Favorites problem returned

I thought it was fixed, but I guess it wasn't. So I took Bob's advice and
ran regedit and took out the word downloads and voila... it seems to be
working right, for sure now.
The new problem is Everything in my favorites list appears to be on the
Favorites Bar as well. How do I get them all off there, leaving them just on
the list and a select few on the bar?

Favorites bar ; right click ( on the "name" ) and delete .
