Favorites getting lost...

Lately, when I save web pages to my Favorites list, it seems that they get
lost somewhere...the link still shows in my Favorites list, but when i click
on it, I get a window that says: " The target ' " ' of this Internet
Shortcut is not valid. Go to the Internet Shortcut property sheet and make
sure the target is correct. " I delete the link from the list, find the site
again via google or other search engine, save again to Favorites for next
time I want to go there, only to have the same problem the next time I click
on the link...not all items saved to the Favorites list do this, only some
do...for some reason, I cannot get Google search page to stay in the list,
and numerous forums I use, and many others....any help, or am I the only one
experiencing this? Thank you.
