FAT32 drive

I have a new comp w/XP home on it, I want to take the info off an old FAT32 drive and put it on the new comp. When I put in the old drive it is recognized in the BIOS and in the Disk management but can't be seen in the windows explorer. My thinking is that since it's FAT32 and the comp is NTFS is not recognizeable. How do I convert the old drive so that the new comp will recognize it and I can move he info off?

Hi Hannz,

The computer's file system being NTFS and the older drive FAT32 makes
no difference. It should be seen.
Try going to Start > Run > diskmgmt.msc
In 'Action' click rescan the disks, or
right.click on the drive and assign it a letter.

Good luck
