False Trojan detection for ATI Catalyst Panel?

I have been using Microsoft's AntiSpyware software for
awhile now, but I have discovered that it seems to falsely
detect ATI's Catalyst 5.7 Control Panel as a Trojan -
"Unclassified.Trojan.93 (Browser Modifier) with a threat
level as Severe. After allowing it to remove the 'infected
files' I ran the scan again after a reboot and it came out
clean, but of course trying to launch the control panel for
ATI, resulted in a request for a reinstall of the software.
Downloading the drivers again I simply installed 5.7 once
more, rescaned and once again Microsoft Antispyware detects
the same files as 'Unclassified.Trojan.93 (Browser
Modifier)'. Anyone else experience this? Here is the actual
result of a full scan:

Hi

I have exact the same problem......I tried a fresh
install of xp and tried Catalyst 5.4 insted of 5.7.

With spyware def. fil 5733 it didnt find anything....when
i updated the def. file to 5743 i found Trojan 93 ( seven
regfiles).

Its not the ATI driver...it must be the def. file thats f-
-ked up!

Just seen somebody else in the signatures group reporting
the same thing. I'm seeing it too (as of last nights update).

There's also a thread from the 6th about it, and apparently
something older (though I've not yet found it).

Actually, if you look above, I posted this problem a few hours before. Good
to hear I'm not the only one, I think this is a detection we can ignore. My
guess is, Catalyst is a trojan but is also part of the basic workings of
Catalyst. Nothin' to worry about.

Hi,
It would indicate, from your and other recent messages, that something is
hitting false on this one.

FWIW, it seems that there are few false reports with this product.

Yes I am having the same... if you remove Crashola! I
have found about 40 posts on the net assuming the same
false +

I believe that this is a false positive, based on the reports I am seeing
here and in other groups. Look for resolution in a future set of
definitions, and sorry for the inconvenience.
