Failing to Register DLL's

With the newest version, it seems that the installer isn't able to register -
or unregister on an uninstall - 6 dlls (The only ones in the MSAS folder).
This prevents execution of the program making life a little more difficult
than it needs to be.

I've cleaned up my registry and nothing appears to be creating a conflict.

Any ideas on how to get it to fix it's registration issues?

Hi Chris,

The registry is not my strong, but at least 3 reasons cause problems

The likely causes of failing to self-register are:
1) You are not running as an administrator
2) You registry is corrupt
3) You are running a really old version of NT, your DLL's path is long,
*and* you have disabled 8.3 pathnames on your NTFS volume.

They are numeruos people in this forum, who can give you a good exlanation.

Happy Year 2006

I'm getting the same errors except mine started after I omved my laptop from
our old logon domain to our new logon domain.
I am the administrator on this computer, and have found nothing in the link
you posted previously pertaining to Antispyware and the non-registering
errors.

Can you suggest something else?

Tom
