Since I'm not familiar with Dell laptops that much I'll have to ask, is this
a new system with Vista installed from Dell? Then first solution is to deal
with Dell. If not was this an upgrade? Due to some particular issue with the
install you upgraded over it may have left you with a problem. Realistically
you give so little information it's hard to help. To change display
resolution you right click on the desktop and select Personalize and then
select Display Settings which is the bottom item.
