Windows 2000 Server

My Secondary IDE shows "Failed Redundancy" in disk management. I opened the
device manager and saw the yellow ! on the drive. The following is the
error that I received:

Secondary IDE Channel:
General:
This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other
devices on this system.
Click troubleshooter to start the troubleshooter for this device.

Resource:
Interrupt Request 15 used by:
System Board

Someone please help.

Hi Ray,
There may be two possible workarounds:
1. Interrupt 15 (IRQ 15) may be "locked" in the system BIOS. Contact your
manufacturer and ask them how can you free the interrupt.

2.Look into the msinfo32 and check if both the system board and secondary
ide channel are both trying to use the same interrupt 15. Conact your
manufacturer. they may have have a fix for it.

A CRC means that the disk is dying or already dead. If you're
lucky then the problem is restricted to one or two files. Back
up the rest while you can, then download and run the manufacturer's
diagnostic program.
