F8 won't work in XP Installation

When I run the XP installation disk and it reaches the point that asks to
press F8 to accept license agreement, I cannot get it to work. I can only
check "do not agree," which ends the setup process. Can anyone give me
advice on how to solve this problem? (I have tried it with two different XP
disks and the same thing happens.)

Thank you.

Do you have one of those stupid keyboards with the F-Lock feature? You
need to toggle it off so you can press F8 to agree. Or you could just
attach a normal ps/2 keyboard to the system while you're installing
Windows.

You were absolutely correct! It worked as I do have one of those keyboards.
Thank you very much.

Great! Thanks for taking the time to let me know. I have *no* idea what
"they" were thinking when "they" designed F-lock keyboards, but "they"
should be beaten about the head and shoulders with a cluestick. ;-)
