Extract data from email attachment and add to datbase?

Is there any way I can automate the following...

I want outlook to spot emails with a particular subject, open the
attachment, and parse certain data to a ms access database ready for
upload??

Would love some support!

P.S. The attachments are excel files, there are a bunch of names, and
certain long/lats linked to each one which i need to extract according
to the name field.
