Extract bullets from a PowerPoint presentation

I have been given a presentation that has some custom bullets in it.
How can I grab these bullets to use in another presentation? They must
be stored somewhere separate from the file, but I can't find them.

Those bullets are not linked, they are stored inside the presentation. What
you can try is to save the presentation as a website (HTML file). All
graphics used in the presentation will then be stored in a folder, search
there for your bullets and discard the rest.
