Extra decimals in Word report from Access

I am trying to get financial data from Access to Word through ODC. Most of
the data come through fine, but some numbers are coming up with 12 decimal
points, and I cannot seem to get Word to use the "$" sign.

Any suggestions out there?

So far I have checked the number formats in the database, and all are
showing currency and either no decimals or 2 decimals. The reports print
fine from Access, but are unpresentable in Word because of the number formate.

In Access, the datatype of the field that holds the currency values should
be Currency. That is limited to 4 decimal places.

Roger:

The data types are all set to currency. Access has no problem recognizing
them and they print and display in Access OK, but when I import them into
WORD via OBDC coding, 1500 shows up as 1499.99999999999 (for example).

I feel like an idiot - the data TYPE was not set to currency; only the
FORMAT was... Your suggestion solved the problem - many thanks...
