Hi my web site is hosted externally and is the same as my AD name on
SBS 2000 so the problem I am having is that all win2k pro and winxp
users cannot access our external website. Is there anything I can do
in dns to resolve this?

In the internal DNS server's forward lookup zone for your domain add a
record named www that has the IP address of your web site.

I know this isn't exactly the answer you're looking for, but I name
the internal domains "domain_name.local" as opposed to
"domain_name.com" to avoid that confusion.

Maybe rename the domain?

Good luck,
Rob

Ok, have seen old posts about adding the www host record, all working
fine, ignore earlier question
