external drive case

I wish to purchase an external drive case to place a 1TB sata HDD,and
connect to my E-Sata port,
but all the ones I see are for 500 gb or 750 gb, when you buy an external
1TB HDD, what kind of
a case do these use, I feel that what is being done is that 500gb cases are
being used to carry 1TB.
or am I wrong,
as they I am not always right but I am never wrong

With kind regards From WillofAustralia

Also in addition to Tom's suggestion
find a case that includes a fan and external power.

You pick a case based on what interface you want to use and the form factor
of the drive you're going to put in it.

The capacity of the hard drive is relevant.

I didn't know that this applied, and that you had to use a case to fit the
HDD capacity
Thanks for that advice, sure makes it easy to choose

Why bring this up here? It has nothing to do with the OS.

As you have been told interminably. This is a hardware question. This is a
hardware newsgroup.

Nobody else give two ****s for the ****wit dellusions of a mentally retarded
